YOUR CALL TO CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY Accept the Challenge The Jesus Fellowship has many large houses in the UK. Those who live in them are called the New Creation Christian Community. Come and join us - in Community! Don't live an aimless life. Stop being bored. Have a cause to live for. Get out of your lonely bedsit or flat. Find true friends. Find trust and be trusted. Work with us for something better than you've known. Be healed of your hurts. Get rid of your feelings of rejection. Don't sulk in self-pity. Don't live in the past. Let's rise together. Let's create and conquer. We're a community of Christians. We believe in the Bible. We know Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. We've received the Holy Spirit. It's for you too. So let's be different in our lives - and different in our lifestyle. Jesus came to change things. His church-society brings justice and love. Blacks and whites together. Old and young. All kinds of us - in Community together. No more squabbling - or loneliness, or fear, or bitterness. Our aim is a society of peace, equality, truth and unity. OK, so we make mistakes. Why not? - let's take risks. That's the way we learn. Problems? Let's solve them! Christian Community is the culture for the present and future. It's caring and sharing. It's "ours" - not "mine". Leave the battered, crusty old culture of the past. Get away from that old life that caused you pain and shame. Let's fight against the evils of society. Be a radical. Join us in an unashamed witness. Quit the rat-race. Let's show what Jesus can do. So what? You're fearful? Who's running your life? You or fear? Lose your chains. Find something new. Let's live as Community. The early Christians did. Disciplines? Yes. Holy standards? Yes. Growing together in holy love? Yes. You've heard it all before? OK - go back to sleep! But if you want to belong to today's happening, centred in God, join us! Go on! Be a pioneer. Belong to a Jesus movement. Bear your cross. Don't keep thinking about it. Do something! We only live once. LET'S LIVE! There's a place for you in the New Creation Christian Community Maybe the modern JESUS army Training Year is for you!
