Cowley created classic Cambridge cars
Chrome clad convertible Cadillacs
Constantly cruising cornering cyclists
Coppers chase, crash
Consistently causing calamity
Chaotic congestion
Contaminating clean clear cosmos
Cool club culture
Cosmopolitan community
Cafés containing customers, chocolate/carob cookies
Cut carrot cake
Curried chips
Coffee cups, chilled cream
Creative Celtic crafts
Cursed cats climb, cunningly creep
Closed curtains, counterpane covers
Clashing coloured cushions clutter chairs
Cold crying children cuddle closer
Couples copulate
Coke costs cash
City centre close circuit cameras
Can't catch cocaine corrupted criminals
Casualties
Committed cross carrying charismatic Christians camp
Channel compassion
Considered crazy
Courageous calling connecting collecting converts
Curb crawling cancelled.
The district in Oxford called Cowley was where the car firm 'Morris' was situated. The road leading up from Cowley to Oxford is called the Cowley Road - the road this poem is all about.
